Mike Moss is a lighting designer based in Boerne, Texas with 23+ years of experience developing thoughtful lighting, drafting solutions, and creative design services grounded in artistic vision and technical precision.
Mike’s background in fine arts informs his work — bringing an artistic sensibility to architecture and environment. His approach centers on clear documentation, refined design thinking, and lighting solutions that elevate space.
Mike also studied Art at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, concentrating on fine arts, studio arts, and painting. During this time, Mike also received merit scholarships for his work to both the Chicago Art Institute and the San Francisco Art Institute, which he respectfully declined to begin his progression as a full-time artist. Over the next several years, Mike developed collections for both public and private sectors.
This, in conjunction with his keen ability to develop concepts from a subjective lens and a high pedestal of quality, commitment, and professionalism, is what gives mmossdesign clients the confidence they are working alongside someone who truly values their results as much as they do. To Mike, his client's satisfaction is his success, and he practices the principle that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right.
